Threads- What is it? Launched on 6 July, 2023 by Meta, Threads app is now gaining attraction across the industry. Within 24 hours, it crossed the mark of "10 million" sign ups. It has been described as a text- based conversation app which is linked closely to Instagram. It has been designed to be a more intimate and personal way to connect with your friends. Posts on threads are only visible to your followers and you can only follow those people who follow you back.  Is it a part of Instagram? Threads is a standalone app. Though users can login using their Instagram credentials and follow the same accounts. Meta says that Threads is an app from Instagram but not a part of it.
